OpenAI, OpenAPI and now OpenUI. Explain this to a non tech person...

I actually thought this was OpenAI until I read your comment

My browser popped up a modal saying 'Did you mean openai.com? Attackers sometimes mimic sites by making hard-to-see changes to the web address'.

Sonnet is the new haiku

Unfortunately GLM5.3 is a cheaper replacement for haiku than sonnet

This time it came with a usage reset

Great, my usage reset is in 10 hours ...

And my 5 hour window was due to be reset in 2 hours (barely used), now its in 5 hours - so this reset effectively gives me 1 less 5 hour reset for this weekly cycle.

Unless you run overnight, you could schedule a cron job to send a basic claude -p prompt such as "reply with hello" using haiku to align your usage windows. That's what I do.

Yes something like that is what I did, so I had my 5 hour reset window to be at 2 hours so I could work. But anthropic reset it so it went back to 5 hours.

Same... I think this timing aligns with a reset they gave months ago.

This was the best thing for me. 98% Fable usage resetting only Thursday and just got this early. Couldn't be happier.

Yeah, same with the latest releases of meta and NVIDIA. It's like everybody is expected to have 32 GB of RAM

It feels so strange that we now have countdowns for model releases

Alibaba does this for their shopping biz all the time. Growth hack is very high priority in the company. Their homepage was a bunch of ridiculous SEO. The whole culture there seems very distasteful to me. This doesn’t mean this qwen model is bad today, but I’m a believer that culture will decide the product quality in the long run.

I tried to run it with lemonade by installing it via hf but did not succeed, it gets some weird 500 errors. I also see that ollama has currently only an mlx version available.

Anybody here succeed to run this on AMD?

You design the sandbox so the agent starts in that layer. The next thing you can do is to limit the network access, this is what I'm working on right now.

Or do you mean something else?

Open source alternative with podman support and local telemetry collection https://github.com/VibePod/vibepod-cli

Looks really nice. Would it be easy to make a qwen-cli wrapper?

Sure, I added an issue for this, so it will follow in one of the next releases

This is not really an alternative if you care about the security of your host system. Docker Sandbox uses micro VMs for a reasons.
